Olá! A nossa professora propôs nos uma segunda atividade na segunda semana de maio.

Esta, como todas as outras atividades elaboradas neste projeto, serve para nós expandirmos o nosso conhecimento sobre o sistema circulatório.

Primeiro a nossa professora compartilhou um documento no Google Docs com uma tabela para cada equipa (a nossa, a equipa banana e a equipa tomates). Nesta tabela era suposto recolher informações sobre este sistema, e também “voltarmos atrás no tempo”, ou seja, pesquisar como o conhecimento da morfologia e fisiologia do sistema cardiorrespiratório evoluiu até aos dias de hoje.

Foi muito interessante fazer este trabalho, encontramos muitos factos curiosos que nós nunca tinhamos ouvido falar, por exemplo, por volta do ano 170 d.c., Cláudio Galeno, um médico romano, defendia que o sangue era produzido no fígado, e Harvey dizia que o fígado precisaria de produzir 250 litros por hora para que o corpo funcionasse. Antigamente pensava-se que o coração era o órgão que coordenava todos os outros, sendo o mais importante, ocupando sempre o centro do corpo de todos os seres vivos.

Hello! Our teacher proposed to us a second activity in the second week of may.

This, like every other activity elaborated in this project, sereves for us to expand our knowledge about the circulatory system.

First our teacher shared a document on Google Docs with a table for each team ( our team, team banana and team tomatoes). In this table we are supposed to retract information about this system, and also to “turn back in time”, in other words, research how the knowledge about the morphology and physiology of the cardiorespiratory system has developed until nowadays.

It was very interesting to do this, as we found many curious facts that we never heard of, for example, around the year 170 d.c., Cláudio Galeno, a Roman physician, defended that the blood was produced in the liver, and Harvey said that the liver would need 250 liters per hour so that our body would function. Formely people thought that the heart was the organ that coordenated every other, being the most important, it always occupied the center of the body of the living beings.
